Outward-opening wooden windows with PN UNI bindings (of a Scandinavian type)

Outward-opening wooden windows with PN UNI bindings are characterized with exclusive characteristics such as being more hermetic in cases of strong winds or breezes. The thickness of a casing is 92 mm, while the thickness of a stud is 68 mm. The thickness of the casing is crucial because it reduces the possibility for the outside of a window to freeze. Windows that can be tilted in an angle of 180 degrees are very convenient to use. At the same time, they do not take any interior space: when tilting, the stud moves outwards. It is important to mention that such windows are very comfortable for small rooms.

Different openings and structural solutions are available:

• Tilting across horizontal axis in 180º;
• Turning around horizontal axis in 180º;
• Opening sideways;
• Tilting from below;
• Composite windows (one part of which is opened and another is not);
• Fixed windows (showcases);
• Bindings of tilting windows have an integrated child restrictor, protecting against incidental window opening. In order to open a stud, a locking plate has to be pressed.
